European Social Innovation Competition (Belgium)

The 2016 edition of the European Social Innovation Competition will focus on refugees and migrants and their achievements in social innovation. In total, 1095 entries for innovative social ideas were received, 30 of which have been selected for the semi-finals of the competition. As this year’s theme is ‘integrated futures’, applications led or co-created by refugees and migrants were strongly encouraged. Out of the 30 semi-finalists, 10 will be invited to the awards ceremony on 27 October, during which three of them will each be awarded EUR 50 000.
