The Employment Service of Slovenia, the Slovenian Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, and public agency SPIRIT Slovenia, have put together an entrepreneurship training programme for unemployed women with tertiary education who want to start a business. The qualification requires two stints of 100 hours of training across eight different modules, but once it has been granted it gives the certificate-holder the right to a EUR 5000 subsidy to start self-employment. In total, the training programme expects to qualify 400 women.
