Angela Merkel and Queen Maxima join Women20 Summit

Some of the world’s most successful women met in Berlin for this year’s Women20 Summit. Taking place 3 months before the G20 Summit, this event includes over 100 delegates from all G20 member states in order to fix Women’s Economic Empowerment on the G20 agenda.

Highlights include panel discussion ‘Inspiring women: Scaling up women’s entrepreneurship’ featuring Chancellor Angela Merkel, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands and First Daughter and advisor to the US President Ivanka Trump.

The Women20 Germany event is jointly organised by the National Council of German Women’s Organisations (Deutscher Frauenrat) and the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs (Verband deutscher Unternehmerinnen- VdU).
